2015: Your Allegations Are Baseless – Amaechi Fires Back At Asari

Image
Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has reacted to comments attributed to militant leader – Alhaji Mujaheed Dokubo-Asari describing him as a traitor and sell-out of the Niger Delta people saying it is a democracy and anyone can say whatever they want. At the weekend, during a news conference in Abuja, Asari, while speaking on President Goodluck Jonathan’s rift with Amaechi among other issues, said since the Rivers State governor had singled himself out as a traitor, he will be treated as such adding that, “there is nothing anybody can do about it.” But responding on behalf of the governor, Commissioner for Information, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, said that Dokubo-Asari was entitled to his opinion. She said, “I am sure those are Asari-Dokubo’s views. It is a democracy and so everybody has a right to abuse; whether those views are right or wrong is irrelevant. I do not think that as a government, we will respond to that; there is nothing to respond to in his allegations. “Doku

Senator Uncovers Fraudulent Allocations In 2014 Budget

Image
Senator Babafemi Ojudu, representing Ekiti Central senatorial district, may have uncovered a massive fraud in the 2014 Appropriation Bill presently before National Assembly. The Executive Arm had last December submitted a budget proposal of N4.77 trillion separately before both chambers of the National Assembly but Mr. Ojudu, contributing to the debate on the piece of legislation at plenary yesterday, told his colleagues that he compared the 2014 budget with those of 2012 and 2013 only to discover that there was no significant difference between the 2014 budget and the two previous ones. He accused the Budget Office of the Federal Ministry of Finance of lifting word for word, the two previous budgets without making any alteration. He noted that there was no creativity in the budgeting process, adding that the process goes on year in year out without any serious thoughts going into it. Recalling the times when Nigeria used to have meaningful development plans, Senator Ojudu

"If it is war the North wants, we are ready......

“If it is war the North wants, we are ready for them because Jonathan must complete the mandatory constitutionally allowable two terms of eight years. At home, we have regrouped and we have put our people at alert. In less than one hour, the way we would strike, the world will be shocked. If anybody does anything against Jonathan, we will retaliate. What we will do will shock the wxhole world. We will cripple the economy of the country not only in the creeks, but also on the nation’s territorial waters, no vessel will be allowed to enter Nigeria’s territorial waters. Let them not try anything. If they abuse Jonathan, there is no problem, he is their President but anything that will affect the interest of the Ijaw people and the interest of the entire people of the Niger Delta will be resisted at any cost. Jonathan cannot be defeated, they cannot defeat him. Even if he is defeated in a free and fair election, we will make the country ungovernable. They don’t have the right, every par

California Allows First-Ever State Recognized Human-Animal Marriage

Image
History was made at the Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio in San Francisco, USA as the first-ever state recognized human-animal marriage took place.  nationalreport.net reports Local resident 35-year-old Paul Horner was the groom during the ceremony. Joining him was his faithful dog Mac who is 36-years-old in dog years. Mac also decided to be the groom but ended up wearing a white veil at the last moment. Father McHale who officiated the outdoor wedding told reporters he was extremely happy to be a part of this joyous moment of life. “This is the definition of true love my friends. There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a man and his faithful dog,” McHale said. “Now, since it is recognized as a legally binding marriage in the state of California, Mr. Horner and Mac will have all the same tax benefits and everything else coming to them that a regular married couple would receive. It’s a fantastic day to be alive!” So how could this have happened? In the book of

Women Eating Chicken Feed To Become Curvier

Image
Women are going to extraordinary lengths to make themselves beautiful. Even medically sound elective procedures can be life threatening. Women are now injecting themselves with pure silicon, ingesting wonder drugs/herbs to lose weight, and even going for surgery to countries with lower approvals to do the surgeries. Capitalizing on all these are medical scammers who are promising weight loss or gain through fake treatments which basically make one lose water and not fat. The newest is shocking: they are now eating chicken feed meant for broilers to become curvier and make their breasts bigger. Would you do this if it got you to be more appealing to men?

The 20-year-old’s body was found in bushes at the Mandlikazi village near Letsitele, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said. “The body had its arms tied at the back, hands cut off and the deceased’s house keys and cellphone were placed inside her stomach which was cut open.” She was believed to be from the Relela village, about eight kilometres from where the body was found. “Police are not ruling out the possibilities of this being a ritual-related murder,” Mulaudzi said.

Man Adopted 15 Cats Only To Later Cook Them and Serve Them for Dinner

Image
A 50-year-old man in the northern region of Lombardy in Italy was adopting cats from nearby shelters only so he could cook them and serve them as meals. It appears that the unidentified man took in about 15 cats, all around 3-years-old, black, and “meaty.” He would then kill the cats and serve them as food to friends at dinner. It is unclear whether his friends knew what they were eating. It appears the shelters became suspicious when the man refused to have any of the cats come in for checkups. Lorenzo Croce, president of the Italian animal welfare orgnization, Associazione Italiana Difesa Animali ed Ambiente (AIDAA), told Il Mattino that it was first suspected that the man might have been a Satanist and was performing some form of sacrifice. Instead, after a raid of his home, they found out the terrible truth. The Daily News notes that he was arrested and charged with animal abuse. If convicted, the married father will face up to 12 months in jail

Can Couples Really Get Stuck Together During Love Making?

Image
An emergency trip to hospital is never pleasant, but it’s certainly not something you would want to happen after sex. “It’s not the most romantic ending a couple can imagine,” says Dr Aristomenis Exadaktylos, author of a study of 11 years of admissions to his hospital in Bern, Switzerland. He and his co-authors found plenty of patients who had experienced problems after sex – migraines, heart problems, even amnesia. But asked on the BBC’s Health Check radio programme if he had come across a case of the woman’s vagina clamping on to the man’s penis, he said No – and added that the idea was probably an urban myth. “I must tell you it is no myth,” wrote one woman who asked to remain anonymous. “It happened to my late husband and myself one night. He literally could not withdraw i.e. was ‘stuck’. I attributed it to the intensity of the vaginal muscle response during orgasm.” Another correspondent, who asked to be referred to simply as John, grew up near an airport in southern En

A Dilapidated Police Station in Benue State

Image
The photo above shows the dilapidated state of Police stations in Benue state. It is just shocking that such an institution can be in this state in a country with a functioning government. You would be forgiven for thinking that this photo is a photo of a police station in a failed state. Or has Nigeria become a banana republic? The photo is of a police station located in Eupi Otukpo, Benue State, in Senate President David Mark’s State.
