Former Vice President and presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan has begged him to return to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He confirmed that President Jonathan paid him a secret visit on Friday night to hold a meeting that lasted till the early hours of Saturday. President Goodluck Jonathan is locked in a decisive meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, Attahiru Jega and security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Jega who said he would not resign in an interview yesterday is expected to brief the meeting of the Security Council on the latest in the commission’s preparation for the forthcoming general elections, the Punch Newspaper reported. On Tuesday April 30th, a 25 year old bricklayer named Akinloye Anuoluwapo slit his ex-girlfriend’s throat, a 21year old girl named Rafiyat Akinyemi, then had s*x with her as she bled to death in her father’s house at Ogijo in Ogun state. A woman who was said to have been involved in adultery was caught and forced to walk unclad with her partner in Benue State. The incident was said to have occurred on September 19 at Orokam, Obadigbo Local Government area of the state Apparently the woman pictured above is said to be the wife of a popular school proprietor in the area. She lost her husband on Tuesday, and was accused by her husband’s people of committing adultery which she admitted she was guilty of. An unidentified young man in Ilobu community, in the Irepodun LGA of Osun State, was found head deep in a grave in the early hours of Wednesday May 14th, after allegedly attempting to cut off the head of a corpse, buried in Tonto compound in the area, Saturday Tribune reports The suspect’s accomplices fled in terror after seeing half his body get stuck mysteriously in the grave. His death has generated concern among the terrified residents of the Ilobu community. It was gathered that the victim and his partners in crime allegedly came to Tonto compound in the early hours of Wednesday with a plot to exhume the corpse of an aged woman and sever her decomposed head, allegedly for ritual purposes. This story is pathetic and dishearten.   Fear was sent down the spine of everyone today in Adeke, Osun state today when a dead body was found in an uncompleted building. The corpse of a girl was found beheaded in an uncompleted building. The Old man who found this body told the press today that he works in the building, so on his way to work that morning, he discovered the corpse and raised an alarm immediately The body was taken to Adeke Police station. This should be a warning to all those girls who follow guys to uncompleted buildings.
