The police in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested and charged a dog with biting a bank worker’s penis at  Idowu Anisere Street, off Governor’s Road in Ikotun, Lagos. The police also charged the owner of the dog, Adebowale Gabriel, 31, before Mrs M.B. Folami at Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court Lagos. The dog was specifically charged with assault, while Gabriel was charged with negligence under the Criminal Code. The arrest of the dog and Gabriel followed a complaint by the victim, Mr. Simon Anwam, to the police in Ikotun division that when he was walking on the street, the dog pounced on him and inflicted deep injury on his penis. Narrating what happened, Anwam who hails from Akwa Ibom State, southsouth Nigeria, said when he was returning home from work and he had almost reached his house, he met Gabriel on the way holding his dog with chain. A plastic surgery addict injected cooking oil into her face when doctors refused to give her any more silicone. Former model Hang Mioku has been left permanently disfigured following the DIY beauty treatment. After injecting an entire bottle of black market silicone into her face, Hang resorted to using cooking oil that left her face severely swollen and scarred. Her plights was featured on Korean television and viewers donated thousands of pounds to pay for corrective surgery. During the first of 10 operations, surgeons removed 60g of silicone, oil and other foreign substances from her face and 200g from her neck. However, Hang is still disfigured and she said she wishes she could have her old face back. Hang had her first procedure aged 28 and then moved to Japan where she had repeated treatments. A California elementary school teacher was arrested Wednesday after police discovered an estimated 300 to 400 pythons –both alive and dead — in his Santa Ana home. “Some [were] in boxes, some in crates and some crawling around,” Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said, according to ABC Los Angeles. The station tweeted the following photo from inside the house, provided by Santa Ana police. William Fredrick Buchman faces animal cruelty charges. Police found the snakes while serving a search warrant at his home. Police described the stench in the home as “God-awful,” according to NBC Los Angeles. Investigators were responding to complaints from neighbors about the foul odor coming from the home. The house was also said to be infested with mice and rats.

A 32-year-old islamic teacher identified as Mallam Ibrahim Salley has been smoked out of his hiding place by the police for allegedly abusing children sexually. He was arrested by the police at his hideout at Asensu Bar in Ashaiman, away from the Valco Flats location where he lived. A neighbour had expressed concern about the activities of the Mallam (or teacher) but he was asked to provide evidence by the persons to whom he complained.
